Sven is a partner in The Partnering Group TPG consulting and training for manufacturers on the European Continent.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

Sven consults for Manufacturers across a number of disciplines such as strategy development and implementation, consumer and shopper marketing, category Business Planning, category management, initiative planning, organizational design and people competency development.


Some of Sven’s recent work included:

  • Redirecting product push to consumer pull company through deep consumer understanding
  • Developing category management projects for several key customer types.
  • Optimizing organizational design while merging 2 companies
  • Improving Working Capital for SME’s

Partner Industry Experience:

Prior to joining TPG, Sven spend 10 years at P&G where he held several management positions for the Household Care Category. He has transformed brands, categories and drove innovation in all key European Markets and has been honored with several professional distinctions in marketing. He has grown the market leader in laundry for 10 consecutive years – only 2 other brands were able to achieve this globally – behind outstanding marketing programs.

At P&G, Sven gained broad experience working in a matrix organization, where he led innovation & consumer marketing at the center and developed game changing customer plans based on deep shopper understanding in the local market. Key challenge to operate successfully in such a organization set-up was to create a clear definition of roles and responsibilities and to drive transparent communication in the team. One of the key enablers was deliberately designing for a diverse, experienced organization at the centre so that the voice of the local consumer and customers were well represented. This created a lean team that was externally focused on consumer/customer and internally focused on creating value behind rapid share and reapply . He introduced a new decision making model to eliminate duplication and endless alignment. As such, non-value added activities were cut out resutling in a more efficient and effective operation across Europe.

Following P&G, Sven drove business and organization transformation programs as General Manager for IGLO/Birdseye across Belgium, Netherlands, France & Luxembourg, a private equity owned business.
