John is a Partner in The Partnering Group consulting with Retailers and Manufacturers.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

John consults with many of the industry’s top retailers and suppliers across various channels in the areas of Shopper Insights driven Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Promotion Effectiveness, Loyalty Marketing, Competency Development, and Organizational Design.

John  specializes in helping companies leverage their existing resources and capabilities, enhance and developing new capabilities, and link quantifiable benefits to the bottom line of the organization.

Partner Industry Experience:

Prior to joining TPG, John’s career spanned over 20 years with leading retailers such as Walgreen’s, Giant Food, and a variety of executive positions within Ahold USA.  He was also nominated to participate in the inaugural session of the Ahold Retail Academy at Cornell’s Food Industry Management Program.

On the industry stage, John chaired ECR Category Management Committee, led the Retail Commission on Shopper Marketing, and has been a speaker at numerous industry conferences.

John holds a Business Degree from Illinois State University College of Business.
