Chris is a Partner in the Customer Development Practice at The Partnering Group. His focus is on Category and Shopper Marketing and Shopper Insights consulting for CPG clients.
Partner Capabilities and Experience:
Chris brings 20 years CPG Retail, Sales, Marketing and Insights experience combined with 12 years in Healthcare. Chris’ most recent experience was at Johnson & Johnson where he was Director of Shopper Insights and Category Leadership for the J&J Consumer Organization. He has held shopper marketing, shopper insights and market research positions with Johnson & Johnson and General Mills. He started his career in retail with The May Department Stores.
Partner Industry Experience:
During his time in CPG and Retail, Chris had extensive experience in brand, category and shopper insights strategies, consumer research, and building shopper-based design retail concepts. Chris led a team at Johnson & Johnson whose insights and design concepts had an annual sales impact of $50MM across all US retail customers.
Chris also personally led the development of the Global Shopper Toolkit – a shopper marketing framework intended to maximize the adoption and consistency of global brand relaunches with the trade. He has worked across customers, brands and cross-functional teams to create new capabilities, training modules, and innovative design concepts.
Chris received his BSBA in Marketing and Finance from the Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA from the University of Texas Austin.
