Chris Lohrisch

TPG Role:

Chris is a TPG Partner based in Brazil and works on developing Best Practices Category Management and other TPG products in Brazil and neighboring South American countries.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

Chris brings 30 years of experience in Brazil and Latin America in consumer goods marketing and sales.

While his capabilities include marketing and sales strategic planning, his primary TPG focus has been in Category Management capability.

He has done this through training to both retailers and manufacturers, whether in the form of seminars or teaching and facilitating joint retailer-supplier category plan development or in-house client category analysis, strategic documentation and plan development. His accumulated consulting experience covers Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico.

He works closely with ECR Brazil to establish Best Practices Category Management and helped write the Best Practices Category Management Report for ECR Brazil.

Partner Industry Experience:

His previous ten years prior to TPG were at Nabisco-Brazil as General Manager of the Biscuit Division. Prior to that he worked as marketing and sales director with Beatrice Foods, Melitta and Warner Lambert in Brazil. He also worked in Canada in marketing for Warner Lambert and General Foods and began his career in Unilever (U.K.). Originally from Germany, he was brought up and educated in the U.K.

Partner Education:

Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and German and proficient in French, Chris holds a First Class Honors B.Sc. in Chemistry from St. Andrew’s University (Scotland) and studied business administration at York University (Toronto).
