Private Brand Organization

Building a strong PB Program requires the right team in the organization. TPG works with clients on designing this team (structure, number of people), getting the right capabilities and skills on board and making sure the rest of the organization will enable this team to be successful (PB reporting line, PB KPIs and reward structure in the organization, PB governance, etc.).

What We Do

TPG’s Private Brand team has led numerous engagements to design the next generation of Private Brands team and capabilities for leading retailers. A partial list of our Private Brand Organization Capability consulting services includes:

    • Private Brand Organization structure: Identification of the required Private Brand organization structure, competencies and training regimen to build the desired Private Brand organizations capabilities. TPG will leverage our existing Private Brands College of courses to create a custom curriculum were required.
    • Private Brand Alignment in the organization: It is important the PB team gets the support from the rest of the organization. TPG will design the right governance model (‘hard enabler’) to support the alignment and TPG will support building the right PB Culture in the organization (‘soft enabler’).
    • Private Brand Organization Capability: Identification of the required Private Brand organization structure, competencies and training regimen to build the desired Private Brand organizations capabilities. TPG will leverage our existing Private Brands College of courses to create a custom curriculum were required.
      • TPG will identify the required PB Organization structure (including role of Brokers), competencies and training regimen.
      • TPG will provide the initial “best practices” work process maps for the key processes driving day-to-day Private Brands management.
      • TPG will leverage their existing PB college of Courses to create a custom Curriculum.
