Guillermo Serrano

Guillermo is a Partner in the Customer Development Practice of The Partnering Group. He is a strong leader and collaborator and knows how to build solid relationships with clients. He also has varied experience as a Sales Team recruiter, trainer and developer.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

Guillermo provides years of experience in Sales and Category Management at senior levels with a number of Fortune 500 companies.  He has designed and implemented Sales & Category Management training.  He also has restructured Sales and Trade Marketing organizations.  Guillermo’s work has resulted not only in measurable business gains, but also tangible capability development within his clients.

Partner Industry Experience:

Guillermo spent 12 years at P&G Mexico and had a temporary assignment in P&G Canada in the Customer Business Development Department. He joined Reckitt Benckiser Mexico to be in charge of the operations for 4 years. Afterwards, he worked at 11 Chrysler dealers where he standardized policies and procedures to drive efficiencies successfully growing from number #25 to #8 in sales ranking in Mexico. Finally, Guillermo went to RIM BlackBerry to manage the whole Mexico business through a logistics operator (Brightstar Corp).  For the last 5 years Guillermo has had a successful consulting business focused on sales training and organizational development at several key leading retailers in Mexico.

Partner Education:

Guillermo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara, as well as an MBA from IPADE Business School in Mexico City.
