Kathryn has led Category Strategy projects with clients at global and local levels, and consulted on shopper marketing effectiveness.
Partner Industry Experience:
Kathryn has over 20 years of industry experience, holding leadership positions at Heinz and Carlsberg in the UK in Category Management and Shopper Marketing. She started her career at Unilever as a graduate trainee, and gained commercial experience in business to business and FMCG in a variety of sales and marketing roles. Kathryn was a partner and Head of Shopper for DECODE marketing, experts in the application of decision science to marketing. Notable achievements include step changing the category approach at Carlsberg with a new category strategy, and an insight led approach to customer marketing, increasing the ROI of Heinz UK field retail execution by 200% across all channels, and delivered shopper-centric JBP’s via category workshops and co-creation with key customers.
Kathryn recently presented at the Shopper Brain Conference in Amsterdam “The “now what” of shopper brain (actionable science for real world impact)”. She has also presented at a Global Shopper Marketing Conference in Dubai, an ECR Russia Category Management Conference, and the UK IGD Category Management and Shopper Marketing Conference.
Kathryn attended Cambridge University where she studied Natural Sciences.
