Bob Larkin has joined The Partnering Group

Cincinnati, Ohio, June 2013 —The Partnering Group (TPG), an international strategy and general management consulting firm, announced the addition of Bob Larkin as a Partner.  Bob will bring valuable consulting experience in executive coaching and leadership development to TPG’s executive clients.

According to an article recently posted at Bloomberg Business Week, “A modern chief executive requires an array of hard and soft skills; they’re essential for anyone aspiring to top leadership.”  Today’s global economy requires additional skills like good communication, creativity, collaboration and the ability to motivate. Hard skills such as planning, finance and analysis that were paramount in years past represent just a fragment of the many skills executives must now possess.  Bob and TPG can help!

Bob is a well-respected executive coach, organizational development and change leader and consultant. He has 30 plus years experience in training leadership and executive coaching as a practitioner and consultant.  He has proven his leadership in numerous functions including Marketing, Finance, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Logistics. He has been recognized for his leadership, collaboration, leveraging of functional mastery, growing organizational capability and being in-touch within and across corporate functions.

Bob spent the first part of his career at Procter & Gamble. He had key positions including technical process engineer, line manager, and he filled a variety of organizational effectiveness and total quality roles in manufacturing.  He co-led the development and deployment of new work systems for all P&G plants around the world, based on the concepts of High Performance Organizations (HPO) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). He has worked on a global basis instructing plant leadership teams in these key concepts.

Moving to the commercial side of the business in 1997, Bob became the HR manager for the regional laundry business and he spent the last 4 years of his career there as the HR director for the $18+ billion global laundry business where he led 20+ HR professionals in the efforts to optimize the contributions of 15,000 people around the world in that business.  He also had the opportunity to spend time coaching the president and regional and functional vice presidents.

Prior to P&G, Bob was a F4 fighter pilot in the United States Marine Corps.
