TPG Role:

Robert is a key leader in TPG’s Organization Development practice. Robert consults with leading consumer goods and services manufacturers, distributors, carriers and retailers.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

Robert has deep and varied consulting experience across a variety of areas, including organization design & renewal, organizational assessment, employee engagement, performance management, talent development, organization integration, organization transition & implementation, training, leadership excellence, and executive coaching.

Prior to joining The Partnering Group, Robert served as Vice President of APTMetrics.


Some of his recent project work included:

  • Directed the analysis of over 500 hourly and management jobs for a Fortune 5 retailer, including identifying competency models and designing performance management tools.
  • Designed and staffed an internal university for a Fortune 10 organization, including competency development, reporting structures, and talent management programs.
  • Identified a top consulting firm’s core engagement factors, including recommending, implementing, and communicating follow-up employee programs.
  • Transitioned a federal agency from a manual to an automated hiring process, including a comprehensive hiring review, competency analysis, and new online hiring tools.

Partner Industry Experience:

Robert has over 15 years of management consulting experience in the retail, CPG, and pharmaceutical industries.

Partner Education:

Robert received a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University, and a BA in Economics and Spanish from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and the New York Human Resources, People & Strategy (NYHRPS). Robert has published and presented over 30 papers in the areas of talent management and org design.
