Peter is a Partner within TPG’s European Practice, working with Manufacturers, Retailers & Industry Bodies.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

Peter’s area of expertise is Category Management  & Shopper Marketing with a focus on helping organisations develop and implement Emerging and Best Practice processes. As both an experienced trainer and consultant he has worked with Retailer, Manufacturer and industry body clients in Europe, North & South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Partner Industry Experience:

Prior to joining TPG in 2005, Peter had a successful career with Unilever with over 13 years of General, Category Management and Customer Management experience in Unilever’s businesses in the UK and Europe.

In this time he championed the adoption of Streamlined Category Management and gained extensive hands-on experience managing Business Units, leading New Product Introduction developing Customer Strategy and leading Sales & Marketing Organization Development Initiatives.

In his earlier career Peter held Account Management roles working with all of the top 4 UK retailers.

Partner Education:

Peter has a joint honours degree in Management Science and Chemistry from the University of Leeds, UK.
