Nancy is a partner in The Partnering Group and works with both manufacturers and retailers to enhance organizational competency.
Partner Capabilities and Experience:
Nancy is an expert in the development of job competencies and their application to people management, including integrating competency expectations into job descriptions, developing career paths, developing and administering assessment centers used for personnel selection and individual training needs analysis, designing competency-based certification programs and developing clearly-stated performance expectations as part of the performance management process. She has assisted companies in developing measurable and fair methods for rewarding employee performance.
Nancy has authored seminars in Performance Management and Behavior-Based Interviewing Techniques. Also, she has served as an expert witness in a number of employment discrimination lawsuits involving the use of tests and other selection procedures, as well as statistical analysis of adverse impact.
Partner Industry Experience:
Prior to joining The Partnering Group, Nancy had consulted independently for over fifteen years with a variety of major companies including American Express, Citibank, CIGNA, as well as large governmental agencies. Prior to turning to consulting, Nancy served as the Principal Consulting Psychologist at the US Office of Personnel Management.
She is a member of numerous professional associations including, the American Psychological Association, the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the International Personnel Management Association. She is the recipient of the prestigious Stephen E. Bemis Memorial Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement in Personnel Management.
Nancy holds a masters and Ph.D. in Psychology: Measurement and Evaluation from Columbia University.
