Mike applies his experience to optimize supply chains at all points along the product flow; from tier-2 suppliers to the retail store shelf. Mike has proven capability to coach organizations to deliver world-class inventory and customer service results. Businesses that Mike has coached have been recognized by the Oliver Wight Company and received the prized “Class A” rating for sustained excellence in performance results and business processes.
Mike has helped companies initiate and improve Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to better coordinate the execution of strategy between all business functions. Mike’s extensive personal experience leading S&OP is used to quickly get Sales, Finance, Innovation and Supply functions on the same page and delivering solutions to enterprise challenges.
Mike also consults with manufacturers looking to expand their capacity by better utilizing their existing capital assets. Mike is a “Jonah” in the practice of The Theory of Constraints. He utilizes TOC methodology in developing innovative solutions to break bottlenecks with minimal capital investment.
Partner Industry Experience:
Mike brings more than 25 years of successful hands-on Supply Chain experience to his TPG clients. During his career in industry, Mike led manufacturing plants, corporate staff groups and suppliers to reach Supply Chain excellence. He held assignments in Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Business Planning and Engineering. Mike’s most recent assignment before joining TPG was as the Associate Director for Supply Chain Operations for a $5 billion North American consumer products business unit at Procter & Gamble. In that role, he was responsible for Business Operations Planning, Supply Sourcing and Product Change Management.
Mike graduated summa cum laude from Philadelphia’s Drexel University with a BS degree in Engineering.
