TPG Role:

As a Partner with the Partnering Group, Mark’s focus is within the Customer Development Practice, with primary responsibilities and expertise in the areas of Category Management, Joint Business Planning, Customer Development and Training.

Partner Capabilities and Experience:

Mark provides years of experience in business development at the executive level with a number of Fortune 500 companies. He has led interface engagements and training in Category Management within the retail and foodservice industries and facilitated Joint Business Planning efforts with suppliers and distributors. Mark’s work has resulted not only in measurable business gains, but also tangible capability development within his clients.

Partner Industry Experience:

Prior to joining TPG, Mark spent 17 years in sales and sales leadership positions with Procter & Gamble. At P&G Mark led multi-functional teams, had assignments in nearly every channel of trade, and enjoyed leading what P&G then considered new areas of development such as identifying and restructuring unproductive work processes and leveraging the roles of executives in retail operations. Mark also brings the unique perspective of developing and operating a successful small business from the ground up in the food service industry.

Partner Education:

Mark holds a Business Administration degree from California State University at Fullerton in Marketing.
