Gigi is a Partner within the Customer Development Practice of The Partnering Group. She is a forward-thinking, innovative influencer and problem solver. Gigi brings extensive experience and significant results leading highly successful initiatives within domestic and global organizations.
Partner Industry Experience:
Gigi has thirty years of food industry experience across all trade channels.
For the last two years, Gigi has led strategic business development and innovation for the nation’s largest dairy cooperative, Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), driving alignment and interactions with, customers, strategic partners and industry associations. Her responsibilities included managing R&D and the organization’s Innovation Center. Gigi established a “culture of innovation” through focus on marketing and new product development across the company. Gigi created a new dairy-based beverages business unit, focusing on formulation, packaging, trade spend, marketing and advertising.
Prior to DFA, Gigi was the President and COO for Fonterra North America. In this role, Gigi had complete P&L responsibility for a $1.0B premium ingredients and commodity business for the U.S., Canada, Caribbean and Central America. Gigi dramatically improved operational effectiveness of the business through best in class business-to-business and business-to-consumer insights and sales teams as well as supply chain, manufacturing and globally sourced customer offerings.
Prior to Fonterra, Gigi spent over eight years with PepsiCo, serving in several leadership roles. Gigi directed anchor bottler brand marketing, customer marketing, sales capability, revenue management and category management teams. In addition, Gigi led the Customer Alignment effort, partnering with external consultants to orchestrate the reorganization of the domestic sales and marketing structure for Pepsi Americas. Gigi was also the General Manager for Pepsi’s largest bottling operation organization in Chicago and delivered a successful turnaround, returning the business unit to profitability.
Previously, Gigi held senior leadership roles at other major consumer packaged goods companies including Coca-Cola, Kraft/Nabisco, Campbell Soup, Nestle and Procter & Gamble.
Gigi holds a BA in English from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.
