Bob is a partner in The Partnering Group consulting focusing on consulting and training in Branding, Marketing and Consumer Communication with both manufacturers and retailers.

Bob’s professional background is one of increasing responsibility and achievement in a variety of critical management positions, both domestic and international. Recognized for coaching, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, he has excelled in roles requiring strategic planning, exceptional internal and external client relationship management and the ability to serve as a subject matter expert resource to Executive Management.
Partner Industry Experience:
Bob brings extensive experience in matters affecting brand building and advertising development. In his 20+ year career at P&G, Bob created best practices for brand strategy and advertising development, implemented training programs for the Company’s marketing managers around the globe and helped build key brands in North America, Western Europe and globally. He has personally shaped over two thousand pieces of advertising in his career.
His international experience includes a two and one-half year assignment in England, helping to create the European Advertising Development and Production Department for P&G’s Health & Beauty Care business. Prior to that he served as International Liaison for Advertising Development where he designed and disseminated best practices and critical training programs throughout the world.
Bob was also a charter member of P&G’s New Media Team where he organized a task force to create the first interactive advertising development and production process and wrote the Company’s first white paper on website effectiveness. He served as a team leader of a landmark research project on how to develop advertising that leads to breakthrough business results.
In his most recent work, he has been instrumental in helping several Fortune 500 companies develop and implement best practices in advertising and brand communication strategy. His training programs have become staples in several corporate marketing universities and he has consulted on several successful new brand introductions and brand turnarounds in a variety of product and service categories. In the summer of 2012 Bob joined the faculty of West Virginia University’s School of Journalism as an Adjunct Professor teaching graduate courses online in Integrated Marketing Communications.
