Bill is a Partner in the Customer Development Practice at The Partnering Group, consulting with both manufacturers and retailers.
Partner Capabilities and Experience:
Bill has over 30 years of consumer products experience in sales management, customer and trade marketing, category management, and finance. He has helped organizations make transformational go-to-market improvements in North America and abroad in the areas of Sales and Marketing, Trade Promotion Optimization, Category Leadership, and Integrated Business Planning.
Bill has led and shaped key strategic imperatives including launching a new business unit, developing cross functional customer teams, pioneering category management, setting up a customer marketing department, creating strategic sales plans, building solution roadmaps, and integrating P&L discipline into joint business planning. In addition, Bill led many trade system evaluations and deployments to advance account planning and analytics capabilities.
Partner Industry Experience:
Prior to joining TPG, Bill held leadership positions at Kellogg’s, Pfizer Consumer, MEI Technologies, and Clarkston Consulting. Bill began his career in CPG sales progressing on to successfully lead cross-functional selling teams, in both direct and brokered coverage models, spanning all channels. His further understanding of the industry grew as Bill assumed management roles in customer marketing, financial services, industry relations, sales operations, category management, and new product commercialization.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & a Master’s in Business Administration from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania.
