Barbara is a Partner in the Retail Practice of The Partnering Group. Her consulting and training work focuses on helping companies (both retailers and suppliers) build their internal capabilities and collaborate more effectively with their trade partners.
Partner Capabilities and Experience:
Barbara’s retail experience includes almost two decades of hands on experience in store operations, category management & merchandising and Store Brands, including product development.
Barbara has consulted and/or facilitated training with numerous industry top retailers in the areas of Shopper Insights driven Category Business Planning, Shopper Marketing, Promotional Effectiveness, Competency Development, and Organizational Design, and private label optimization.

Partner Industry Experience:
Prior to joining TPG, Barbara enjoyed a 17-year career with HEB in a variety of roles in both store operations management and procurement & merchandising. She was active in product development and international vendor relations, collaborating with store brands and CPG companies, both domestic and international.
Barbara holds a BA in Management and an MBA from Texas A&M University—Corpus Christi.
